4 quarts popped popcorn, put in a large paper sack
In a large glass bowl mix
I cup butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup karo syrup
Microwave on high 90 seconds, stir well and cook another 90 seconds.
Add:
1/2 tsp soda
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
Stir, it will foam up. Pour over popcorn, shaking frequently to coat all. Close bag rightly. Microwave 90 seconds. Shake and cook another 90 seconds. Put on a cookie sheet to cool.
