1 1/3 cup butter
1 1/3 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp banilla
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
4 cups flour
Roll them out nice and thick and cut into desired shapes. Bake at 350 until the bottom is just about to turn brown, but not quite. You want them to still feel a bit doughy.
Frost them if you want... or are you like me and prefer your cookies frosting free?
**Sugar cookies is my mother in laws specialty, right after tormenting me. She has mastered the art of sugar cookie baking and makes dozens and dozens for every holiday. I don't remember the last time "I" had to make cookies because she always brings us a platter.
